Sex Trafficking and Slavery Outreach Teams
So my lovely church here in sunny California (not to be confused with my lovely church in sunny Florida) is starting Sex Trafficking and Slavery Outreach Teams. This is an extension of the "Justice League" that we have at church. According to the Justice League leader, we will, "...start with prayer, visiting anti-trafficking and anti-slavery groups already in action, researching hotspots for these problems in our very own neighborhood, and will come up with action and awareness plans for the Justice League and (our church) depending on what they find!" I am excited about getting involved with this. Excited and intimidated. I am encouraged and spurred on by the following verse, "And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8)."
